Hola! Ultima llamada! Last Call! Our next monthly activity will be on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Representatives of our sponsor, Cloud Jacket, will be coming from Florida to make a presentation on: "Securing the Cloud - IT Security for Cloud Computing." Since PRCCUG started two years ago, the problem of security in the Cloud implementation was always a concern of our members. I'm sure that this presentation will shed more light on this interesting and vital subject. This presentation is part of our continuing series of presentations of Cloud Computing vendors and service providers and is part of my desire to present Cloud Computing solutions to our audience. News from The Puerto Rico Cloud Computing (and Green Computing) User Group (PRCCUG) |
During this presentation Cloud Jacket along with their distributor R&D Systems Group will discuss securing cloud computing infrastructure including the private cloud. This will build on our prior topics of Cloud Computing and relay the importance of cyber-security in a landscape where the risk and consequences of data breaches are growing. Cloud Jacket will provide information on what to look for when selecting a secure cloud provider and how to secure private cloud infraestructures. |
