During this presentation Estudios Tecnicos will present their study of the state of Cloud Computing in Puerto Rico during 2011. It should show us where we are and where we are going with Cloud Computing, in government as well as private industry. |

| Theme: | Impact of Cloud Computing on Puerto Rico's Economy This study was commissioned by the Puerto Rico Science Technology and Research Trust and conducted by Estudios Tecnicos. The study presents findings about the state of cloud computing in Puerto Rico in areas such as employment, benefits to different sectors of the economy, as well as, business initiatives in the field. |
| Speaker: | Luis Rodriguez Baez, Ph.D., Estudios Tecnicos, Inc. Luis obtained a Ph.D. from the University of Seville, in Spain. He is Vice President of the Board of Directors of the consulting firm Estudios Tecnicos, where he also directs the Division of Market Strategies. Previously, Luis worked in the Marketing and Communications areas, and has been Marketing professor at the University of Puerto Rico and Sacred Heart University in San Juan. He has been President of the Board of Directors of the Advertising Agencies Association and the Sales and Marketing Executives Association of Puerto Rico. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Internet Society of Puerto Rico |
