Hola! ! During March we will be having 2 activities. The first one is on March 20, 2012 and is the "Infosecurity 2012 - Cloud & Mobile Security" PRCCUG will have a booth and I will speak about Cloud Computging in Puerto Rico.

The second activity is the monthtly PRCCUG meeting for March. Our sponsor is Columbus Networks and the theme is "Importance of Connectivity in Cloud Computing".

This presentation is part of our continuuing series of presentations of Cloud Computing vendors and service providers and is part of my desire to present Cloud Computing solutions to our audience.

Marcelo oliveras, Senior Product Manager, Columbus Networks

Marcelo has years of experience inside Information Technology organizations in multiple industries such as banking, software, manufacturing, consulting, training, and telecommunications. Working in diverse areas such as computer programming, business analysis, marketing, sales, and finance he has successfully delivered value for clients.

Marcelo holds a Business Management degree from AEUDF in Brasilia, Brazil. Born in Brazil, he lived in the United States for three years where he graduated from a Marketing post-graduation certificate and a Finance Masters degree from California State University in Hayward, California. Back to Brazil, Marcelo started his own consulting practice where he trained and supported small and medium-sized business developing innovative go-to-market strategies. Later on, he joined Brasil Telecom’s datacenter business unit from its very early stages. He assessed costs and developed prices of all IT and datacenter facilities subsystems. Moving to new roles within the organization, he supported teams of over 100 sales reps selling large, complex IT outsourcing solutions through all stages of the deals such as solution development, client negotiations, and delivery and implementation.
