The Puerto Rico Cloud (and Green Computing) User Group (PRCCUG) is having its 3rd vendor presentation on Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Microsoft Puerto Rico will be presenting their Cloud Computing initiatives. In this series of presentations, vendors will present and discuss their Cloud Computing services. The purpose of this presentation series is to present to our audience the technologies, features, and benefits of this relatively new technology. In future presentations, we will have Oracle, SAP, and other vendors presenting and discussing their products. PRCCUG has as our audience, interested persons in government, as well as, private enterprises. We hope to have stimulating discussions and presentations of Cloud Computing and Green Computing in Puerto Rico. If you are interested in being part of this new group (PRCCUG), please contact me. Se presentará la visión de la empresa con este movimiento de como los clientes existentes y futuros podrán beneficiarse de esta plataforma. Además compartiremos datos de cómo ha sido la adopción de estos servicios en la actualidad y la reacción que hemos visto en nuestra base de clientes. |

| Speaker: | Yamille Morales, New Technology Solutions Director
Mr. Morales is a New Technology Solutions Director at Microsoft Puerto Rico. He started his professional career in 2001 and is based in Puerto Rico. Mr. Morales has more than 8 years of experience in the Information Technology Industry. As New Technology Solutions Director at Microsoft Puerto Rico he has been able to manage division focused on delivering the value proposition of New Technology Solutions for the different technical audiences (Academia, Developers, IT Professionals and Customers). He currently forms part of the Microsoft Puerto Rico Leadership Team planning and implementing strategies to meet the subsidiarie's goals. Prior to his current role Mr. Morales worked as part of a sales task force for Oracle Latin America where he sold solutions to government entities. He likes playing basketball, going to the beach and brainstorming about how to solve the world’s challenges with technology solutions. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering - Electrical with a minor in Communications from the University of Puerto Rico - Mayagüez Campus at Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. |
