Technology and Governance News |

Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (CoBiT) 4.1 is Information Technology (IT) control framework. It can ensure that 1) IT is aligned with the business, 2) IT enables the business and maximizes benefits, 3) IT resources are used responsibley, and 4) IT risks are managed appropriately. A complementary download of Cobit 4.1 is available here and a complementary dowload of the Executive Summary of the Framework is available here. All ISACA members can download these documents by logging in at www.isaca.org. In future editions of the this eNewsletter in 2008, I'll be discussing CobiT in more detail. |

CoBiT 4.1 
In this new section I will be periodically publish a copy of "Tone at the Top", a monthly periodical, issue by the institute of internal auditors for Senior Management, Board of Directors and Audit Committees. It provides nuggets of information concerning risk, internal control, governance, ethics, and the changing role of internal auditing. I obtained permission to publish this month's edition.
